Hall of Monuments: Account Wide?
I've seen some mention that this is true, but the calculator doesn't seem to take this into account.
Is there any confirmation from ANet that the HoM is intended to be account wide? I'm asking because I have three characters, each of which has completed one campaign. If I want to go back and get full completions (+ hard mode?), it would be faster to do it on the existing characters, but if I have to do it all on one character, I need to pick a 'main' to go do the other two campaigns to get credit. edit: Just realized, most of my heroes will be on my NF character as well, which would be a good chunk of points Last edited by Kerus Tel Veren; Oct 21, 2010 at 10:18 AM // 10:18.. |

The HoM Calculator is definitely account wide. Just be sure to record all of your various characters' achievements in their HoMs to get full credit. You'll have to log out of the game before anything you've added to your HoM will show up on the calculator.

Why not just log into the HoM and take a look
It's definitely account based. |

my main character is a monk. I wanted to add am elite Luxon armor set to get two points in my HoM, but my monk already has other armor sets. So I got one for my sin, added that to the HoM and it did show up on the account's HoM GW2 calculator (while putting in the monk's name in the calculator). So yeah, you can add anything to any character's HoM and it will show up.
You cannot double dip though. For instance, if you add Legendary skill hunter for two characters it only counts once in the HoM GW2 calculation. |

I think I can just barely hit 30 without having the few 'bonus' titles for completing all three campaigns on one character
The only sticky point is generating the money for the elite armor and tormented weapon. I don't know how people get the hundreds of thousands of gold needed, and I don't have access to a group that runs the elite dungeons (I've never seen any of them). But I'll plug away, we'll see if I can get there. |

yes it is most definitely account wide....since my lowest mule character will also show all of the accomplishments of all of the other characters (both using the Hom and the calculator)
[and answering the question of How to get the plat---saving up and buying when the time is right (be glad you werent buying tormented weapons when the price of armbraces was over 40e!) ....I have been doing the destroyer weapons....farming the iron and granite and getting my normal onyx or diamond drop from the end chest of reg dungeons..but now with the oppressor weapons added---farming medals is A LOT easier!!]

Bare in mind that as long as one character on your account has completed a campaign, any character is able to do that campaign in Hard Mode. So if you wanted to work through with one 'main' character they don't have to beat the campaign again for you to start working on Vanquishing etc.

^^ This. I didn;t know this till two days ago, when I logged on to my elementalist cahracter that was in Cantha. I had already beat Factions on my assassin, but he was my only level 20 character. I went on to my elementalist and saw that he could do Hard Mode. I thought it was a glitch and asked some guildmates. I felt like such a noob.
